Was born missing my left arm just below the elbow, and was called "Lefty" alot, but when I started racing BMX back in the early 80's my bikes were always painted black due to the fact that I love Smokey and The Bandit. 1 and 1 make 2 I guess. I've been using a variation of the nickname for 20+ years ...

I took a little trip east (Ohio) and found Unity 2000 1 & 2, Armorines Vol2 1-3 S.M. Vol3 1 & 4 and N.I.O. #1 for $7.00. Me thinks that not be too bad. Was more excited just to dig them out of the boxes than seeing the price. It IS all about the thrill of the chase, not the kill. (Not that the kill ...

Re: deathmate boxes

i bought one and decided after all the success i had with my valiant era cards (12 rares!!) i'd go ahead and open this box-
4 rares-only 3 unique.

plus the sorting was horrid-i've got about 9 cards number 5 and zero number 3...and it goes like that through the entire set...sheesh!

Another Rookie question

Picked up a VVSS SW #11 today for $2.00. The comic and the certificate are in great shape, but the plastic sleeve (with the Valiant logo on the flap) is all scratched and scuffed. Do I need to keep the sleeve, or is the book and cert. enough? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Unity 2000 Question

Picked up a copy of Unity 2000 #1 with the blue cover bagged with #2. Is it wise to leave the books sealed together? Just curious. I know it’s probably a rookie question, but would like to hear your opinions. BTW got it for a cool 25 cents, so I don't think I did to badly.

:) 53+

And, yes I know small. I was raised in Montana an now live in southeast Idaho. For a comparison, the county I grew up in is almost 4 times the size of Rhode Island and has a population of 5,566 people (1.4 persons per square mile). Indiana has 172 persons / sq. mi. and Rhode Island has over ...

One Armed Bandit, where in Indiana are you located, if I may ask? I go over to Fort Wayne often as my mother-in-law lives there. My wife grew up outside of Bluffton.

How old are you.

I was just wondering how old everyone I was sharing my interests with were. I am 34 and I am usually the only one my age in my area that claims to be a Pannapictagraphist. I live in small (and i can't stress enough SMALL) mid-western town and i think when it comes to comics...... I'm it. Lets here ...
