I read one issue, not sure which one. Ok artwork and the story was decent. Worth digging out of a cheap bin.StarBrand wrote:Has anyone one here read Apple’s Blood of Dracula series? I’m considering buying a set.

After reading the recent 4 issue Airboy mini from Image and a handful of the Hillman Golden Age stuff I have started collecting the Eclipse run. Got about 20 issues so far. With the Dave Stevens cover being my cheapest and best find.

Yeah the last 3 pages had my jaw dropping. Since the time jump the series has been slow. I knew it was just building up to something. Now I see what that was.iggy101us wrote:Has anyone read #144 yet? Maybe not as epic and shocking as the end of prison arc but it's pretty huge.

I have to go Grant Morrison for Animal Man and his work on Superman. Side note: everybody knows about All Star Superman, but the 2-issue Superman Beyond 3D (tie-in for Final Crisis) was incredible. His Animal Man run rules. Also loved WE 3, The Filth, Doom Patrol & New XMen... and currently lov...

With how good the new Black Hood Dark Circle series is,I went back and finished my run of Impact. Now just gotta find the time to read it. Read Black Hood and Jaguar back when they were coming out in the 90s. But the rest of the series I might have read one issue if any.

Warriors of Plasm trading card question
For X-mas this year I got the Limited tin edition of the Warriors of Plasm trading card set. Now I thought that the tin would include a complete set of the normal run. I opened it up and starting putting them into the pages. I am 6 cards short. With a few cards I ended up getting 2 or 3 copies of. S...

Every seen the movie Drop Zone with Wesley Snipes (who would late play Blade, the Vampire Hunter) and Yancy Butler (who played Witchblade in the short lived TV series), and Gary Busey? I have acquired close to 15 random Impact comics. Besides the Who's Who binder is there anything harder to find? And any series I should start with. Haven't read any of the issues I own so far. Yeah, Caliber was very good, gave us The Crow originally, but I think the best thing they put out was Caliber Presents, great anthology with King Zombie, Crow, etc.. never were a ton on the shelves but great if you can find them. Caliber also did Negative Burn. Which was a great b/w anthology title...

Forgotten comic that deserves more love
I am sure we all got one. A comic that you never hear anyone talk about. But you think more people should know about. Mine is YEAH!. This late 90s series, starting in late 99 and ending in early 2000,is written by Peter "HATE" Bagge. And has Gilbert "Love and ROckets" Hernandez do...

Re: Want advice on image spawn savage dragon. 2 questions.
I have read both before. Savage Dragon is IMHO the better of the two. There is 2 or 3 archive editions that collect in order the first 50 or so issues. Then I am pretty sure there is trades for the rest. Also I have noticed that when digging in back issue boxes I always see SD issues for cover price...

COnan the barbarian is my favorite pulp character. And I am loving the Dark Horse comics Savage Sword of Conan Archives. I read some of their full color Conan series and it is really good too. As for Bone and school kids reading it. My cousin's son saw some of my color bone trades 4 years ago. He read one and was hooked. So as a X-mas present I got him the Bone all in one trade. He read it all in one weekend and loved it. Months later he is telling me how it is on his school's AR list. An...

Just avoid Larsens take like the plague I beg of you. I bought a lot of Larsen's run minus the last issue but I've yet to read them. Now I feel like I might have wasted my money. Is the first one where he used Alan Moore's script any good? I enjoyed the Larsen run. It isn't as good as Moore's run. ...
