Re: DC: Where Do I Start Now?

Wow. I purchased and read the Court of Owls and Night of Owls trades. I have to thank you because that was the best Batman story I've read in a long time. Since Red Hood at least. Awesome! Glad you liked the story! :thumb: Snyder will be at Planet ComiCon in Kansas City in two weeks and I might hav...

Re: DC: Where Do I Start Now?

Thanks everyone! I'm definitely going to check this Owls story out. Is Court and Night two different things? If so which is first? All Star Western ...the title alone has piqued my interest. Is anyone writing good Superman stories these days? I've also seen people mention Aquaman. This seems silly,...

Agreed. They changed very little in regards to Batman. The only thing that ticked me off was how they handled Tim

Re: What comics are you reading now?

I've started a re-read of Sojourn. This is a above average story and an A+ visual book. It is actually beautiful. Man, I do love Crossgen. I've been thinking of re-reading all of the Crossgen books myself but I'm so behind on my current stuff plus I have a back log of stuff from the past year or so...

Re: What comics are you reading now?

I just finished reading Jupiter's Legacy 1-3. It's a great book. Best thing about it is how much story there is - not as decompressed as most current books. Art is great. Lots of interesting characters. My only complaint is I wanted more of the 1920s storyline - I hope it is revisited in a flashbac...

Re: What comics are you reading now?

Just finished reading the new 52 Aquaman and I have to say it was quite enjoyable. The stories were really good, I love how they are portraying Arthur and Mera. And while I normally love Pelletier's art, Reis' work on the book was amazing.

I think you mean Brad Meltzer & Ed Benes. If so, I pity you.....I found that series really dull. Then again, Meltzer usually doesn't do much for me.
Yeah, meant Meltzer. I just started reading Johns' Aquaman too and got them confused.
