Updated price on the Solar 10 cgc 9.8 based on recent sales on ebay
Corrected error on signed Solar 10 cgc 9.2 where I had wrongly wrote BWS was one of the signers...It is in fact Jim Shooter and Bob Latham. Was thinking of classic BWS covers when typing my post, guess I had BWS on the mind.

Re: preview of Bloodshot: Rising Spirit aka Valiant suck now
Well the original Bloodshot was a gangster named Angelo Mortali so I guess they're going back to their roots(?) I don't know, I never liked the origin of the original Bloodshot in the 90s either. Being a "gangster" just felt like such a 90s thing to do in comics, like suddenly everyone goi...

*SOLD* WTS Werewolf by Night #32 1st Moon Knight CGC
Please msg me to buy. I will pay for shipping unless international. Looking to sell my Werewolf by Night #32 CGC 7.5 1st Moon Knight. This is a very nice copy, bright colors, very good gloss, has the deep bluish/purple (not the lighter blue sky from printing issues that some have); honestly not sure...

WTS CGC Books Mostly Variants and Key Books
Sadly with two kids in daycare, I am slowly selling off a bunch of my CGC books. Prices on most are pretty firm and are based on recent sales on eBay, though some I may be willing to negotiate some if offers are reasonable. Pictures can be provided if desired, but any noticeable defects in the case ...

Re: Why did Jason Kothari exit Valiant?
I personally have no knowledge of why, but I can say from personal experience, starting a business together with a friend can and often is a horrible idea. The problem is when creative differences emerge, different goals/agendas, financial responsibility in terms of spending, different views on how ...

Re: New interview with the 'new' Bloodshot creative team
I may be the minority still, but my reaction at this point is still "yay....another origin story *sarcasm*" Wake me up when Valiant stops making new revised origin stories for their characters and starts doing something interesting again. I just can't bring myself to read another angle of ...

Re: Fast tracked books taking a long time at CGC normal?
Consider getting your invoice number from the store and calling CGC and finding out when they actually received it. Who knows how long the store sat on it. Can't discount that, though they typically mail CGC books oout Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and I dropped mine off I believe on either Frid...

Re: DMG about to collapse? Please let Dinesh buy Valiant bac
My understanding is that DMG has nothing to do with the Sony movie. Perhaps they will get a credit, but the two companies have nothing to do with one another. I understand the options on Bloodshot are very old, so you have a situation where it's very possible that Valiant/DMG will get zero $$$ from...

Re: DMG about to collapse? Please let Dinesh buy Valiant bac
Here's proof of the timing. It's crazy. Instant karma? Actually, it makes me wonder if the announcement about acquiring Valiant caused some DMG creditors to point out... "uh, you owe us money". Since we now know the stock price falling is due to debts. :hm: More likely to believe this tha...

Re: DMG about to collapse? Please let Dinesh buy Valiant bac
Just to preface this... I have zero understanding of anything having to do with the stock market, or money in general. To the people saying "DMG Entertainment is different than DMG" (or something like that), I just typed in DMG Entertainment stock into Google, and it looks just about as b...

Re: Re-reading Magnus and got to the Malevs...
I thought after Unity the title suffered a bit but got right back on track with Ostrander. Am I alone in the Gold Armour hate though? I hated the gold armour also, but it was the 90s and there was always a move to re-visualize characters and make them "cooler" looking, whatever the hell t...

Re: DMG about to collapse? Please let Dinesh buy Valiant bac
Sony is producing Bloodshot. Not sure what the rev share is, if any. Valiant might get nothing. DMG US says it is independent from DMG CN, but that's very unlikely to be the case. DMG US is funded by CN, and the ownership of the companies are probably intertwined to the point that it doesn't matter...

Re: Fast tracked books taking a long time at CGC normal?
I'm getting value tier stuff that was received on July 5. You are not getting fast track service. That's what I was afraid of. I'm going to ask my comic store to call CGC and request they refund the $10/book fast track. It's suppose to take half as much time, and going on 10 weeks is poor fast trac...

Re: DMG about to collapse? Please let Dinesh buy Valiant bac
I'm not going to pretend that I fully understand the financial situation underpinning the whole affair here, but the way I'm seeing the situation I'd be surprised if the Bloodshot movie ever even hits the screens at this rate, never mind any other planned movies or tv series. When I first heard new...

Fast tracked books taking a long time at CGC normal?
I submitted about 5 or 6 books back at the start of July (7/6) with fast track option, and still have not yet received them. Is this normal? I see many regulars here constantly posting about what they got back from CGC and have seen some that submitted items late July/early August who already got th...

Waitaminute, Matt Kindt has a long history of writing riveting stuff for Valiant. Then he accepted an assignment to rewrite a summer event at the last minute, coming to the rescue for a brand-new transitional editorial staff that were in a bad situation, and it was about to only get worse. Matt lai...

Re: DMG stock down 10%...20%...30%...40%...50%...60%!!!
Posting something semi-positive here for once. I did some additional research on DMG to try to determine what's been influencing their cash flow over the past few years. With Yinji Media tanking, it's likely DMG Entertainment will cut ties with them. Obviously doing that will have an impact on DMG ...

Re: Harbinger Wars II #4
Taken in its entirety, this was a flop. Mostly because Valiant doesn't have any villains so they are left pitting the heroes against each other. And the villains they do have, they ignore. THIS....This is my biggest concern and issue with Valiant at this point (this disaster of an event series asid...

Re: Iconic Valiant Covers
I have to say for personally my favorite is: Eternity #1 By Felipe Massafera That beautiful painting is my favorite that he has done for Valiant. Just looking at it in person it crazy! I display at my home the Eternity painting above the ICONS painting. Those two combined is valiant at its best. Wh...
