Re: Invisible Book - Money gone, box never arrived.

Actually, one of my friends just told me they have three of these on eBay right now. One is a 3.0, the other is a 7.5, and the third is an 8.0.

So I guess my assumption was incorrect. They aren’t keeping the 9.8’s. It’s cool that they gave me a higher graded one!

Re: Invisible Book - Money gone, box never arrived.

I wasn’t told the Grade, but from what I understand, they had one made of each Grade that CGC issues and 10 or so that were all 9.8. I feel like the giveaway books were always intended to be the 9.8’s. Anyways, here are the pics in case anyone is curious. The date is interesting to me. It says 12/20...

Re: Invisible Book - Money gone, box never arrived.

First of all, I just heard back from someone at Bad Idea. They are shipping the book out by early next week at the latest! If anyone on this board was able to help, but is staying silent on it, know that I appreciate anything any of you did. I was partially worried that it was lost in the mail or so...

Re: Invisible Book - Money gone, box never arrived.

It is nice. I spent $20,000 of my own money in that first month brining back food, water, tarps, fuel and oil for generators, etc… to all of the people I knew in the area. I own my own business and I also reorganized sections of my office for people to live in since we have a whole building generato...

Invisible Book - Money gone, box never arrived.

Hello All, I am not sure if any of you have ever dealt with Dinesh directly, but if you have, I have a question. What would you recommend I do in this situation? On Dec 31/Jan 1, Bad Idea sent out a promotional email where they would select people to sell the graded “Invisible” Books that they came ...

Re: Bloodshot 0 Platinum Holy Trinity

I love this Lobo! I am surprised that they didn’t give you a Green Label Variant Label, which would stink. When I had my error version graded, I begged them to give me the Blue Valiant Custom Label, which they did. Mine was the first Error Platinum, and they discontinued the Valiant Labels right aft...

Re: Harbinger Movie

I don’t know if you guys have seen this relatively new show on Cinemax called Warrior. It’s based on a concept story by Bruce Lee. Anyways, the lead actor, Andrew Koji, is brilliant in the show. Not that my vote matters, but if it did, I vote for him to be Toyo Harada, even if they have to age him a...

That movie is what I imagine the unreleased Fantastic Four movie from 1994 would have been like.

Re: Schools K-12 shut down in Louisiana till April 13th due to Coronavirus

....shutdown of Jefferson Parish schools just announced by Governor Edwards. No gatherings allowed over 250 people. This can’t be good for the Bloodshot movie. I saw it last night with about 14 people in the theater. I enjoyed seeing Valiant come to life on the big screen. I went to Baton Rouge to ...

OK. First of all, your children are correct. You are a madman... Secondly, you are a madman with some of the greatest talents I have ever seen! I have seen other people bind their Valiant books, and the efforts are...interesting, but you, sir, have applied incredible design and thought to yours. I ...

Re: Valiant Binding

This is awesome. We all have a thing once we collect the series and are still rabid fans. Me, I collect all the books in 9.8 condition. You, you make a superb one-of-a-kind binding. Well done! I've submitted 2 books to CGC in my life. One was an Aftershock title (Animosity 1 - Blindbox Variant) tha...

Nycjadie - I wound up selling my set of original Transformers For $50 for a similar reason when we lived in Tacoma. I kept my Ninja Turtles though! Similar value story also... Re: MEGALITH

MEGALITH is not the original title. It was going to be called "Stonehenge Schmonehenge". I heard it was originally called “Stoney McStoneface” but then the people in charge said the internet didn’t get a vote. There was then a huge backlash, so the creators decided they would name the sma...

Re: Book of the Month - January 2020

I agree. Focusing on short storylines works for a miniseries format like Fallen World, but there should be a strong continual living story that evolves over time. Sort of like what Layton did with the demon in a bottle storyline. There were so many parts of that storyline that grew Tony Stark and Ir...

I guess I am getting spoiled by modern writers. I really WANT Visitor to be good, but two issues in and the most excitement I have for it is hoping the next issue will be better. I apologize to anyone personally invested in these, but Valiant has been my favorite comic book company since the 90's. I...

I just wanted to thank TheeBaldMoose for agreeing to part with the one of a kind Bloodshot Salvation #12 Vin Diesel LaRossa Book. I know it was hard to part with and how much it meant to you. It is now locked down next to the rest of my Bloodshot prized books. I can't stop looking at it. I know you ...
