Re: Harbinger - Probably the greatest team book since...well

What happened between Dysart and Valiant that would cause them to not work together again? I don't necessarily need Dysart to write Harbinger, it would be nice, but as long as we get something of quality regardless of who the writer is I'd be a happy reader.

Re: What other things do you collect ?

I've collected so many damn things throughout the years I'm starting to lose track. I think my first love of being a "collector" was basketball and baseball cards. I had thousands upon thousands of them ranging from the late 80's through the mid 90's. I gave them all to a kid I knew in exc...

Harbinger - Probably the greatest team book since...well....

I'm currently re-reading early Harbinger TPB's (currently on vol 5) and I've got to say that this is one of the best team book runs I've ever read. It reminds me of the excitement I'd get back in the early to mid 90's when I was actively buying X-Men titles and discovering Chris Claremont's Sovereig...

Re: IDW publishing Marvel books? What the hell?

I wouldn't mind getting into this line of comics if they expanded the books beyond the initial 3 books, I loved the old Marvel Adventures line of "all-ages" books and this looks as if it could be a spiritual successor of sorts. If the sales support it I'd like to see them add an X-Men book...

IDW publishing Marvel books? What the hell?

I literally just found out IDW is publishing comics on behalf of Marvel now. This threw me for a loop and I have to wonder why in the world this is happening? These books appear to be more on the "all ages" side, which is great, but again: Why? From the looks of things they're only publish...

Re: Crossgen Comics appreciation and memories thread.

Devastated isn't a strong enough term to use to describe how I felt when Crossgen ceased publishing but it's the only word I can think of as I write this. Crossgen was heaven sent to me, the books they published was everything I wanted from comics at that time and I was searching for a new "uni...

New guy here: My Valiant story!

Hello all, My Valiant story takes me back to the mid 90's when I became heavily involved with comics. Having had the random comic book laying around my bedroom as a child of the 80's I guess I've always been a fan of the medium, but I didn't become a hardcore collector until 1994 when I was 14 years...
