Re: Paramount Picks Up Harbinger From Sony
Hold on a moment. In my mind, the only rights that Sony had were distribution rights for the films, with a minor creative input. I think that means that a shared universe is still a possibility, the only difference is which studio is distributing each franchise for films. This may be wrong and I am ...

Re: Bloodshot movie test screening reviews
So, why do you think they had to create a new character for the movie which has not been in the comic books? The character, played by Sam Heughan, of Corporal Harlan Shifflet appears to be new. In an interview with Parade Sam says “.....It’s a really iconic character that plays a new superhero, or ...

Sad numbers Actually they're not really sad if you look at the market share of all the other publishers. Valiant has the third highest average per title behind Marvel & DC. But thanks for continually chiming in with your persistent negativity. Considering you don't buy any Valiant titles any mo...

Based on this twitter post, could Eric Heisserer be coming back?
Part of me really want this to be true. But, as per the topic title, I am guessing that this is a long shot.

It's a mixed bag. Overall, I thought the first issue was okay, with caveats. I've listed my gripes in the other thread. But this... this aspect really makes me wonder. How could the writer just gift her the ability of flight? Why would editors Menchel and Illidge approve? Do they not know her power...

So, from the picture, it does seem that Sony's Bloodshot will be bald. :? Is this really a "sticking point"....for hardcore Valiant comic fans? His hair has usually been very short. Hair is not a deal breaker for me. It will be interesting to see if he does have some hair at any point dur...

I read this and... Is it too early to say that this series is worse than Dead Drop? The story is a mess. Continuity within the first two issues is wrong. I have no sense of character motivation from any character. I hope that with Robert Meyers, this series either dies or gets some actual editorial ...

Re: "Joe Illidge, No Longer Executive Editor at Valiant"
Stability in staff is something that Valiant badly, badly need right now. The recent staff changeover has clearly hurt the books, and the sooner that a new and stable team can be formed, who are ready to bring enthusiasm and committment to the table, the better. Valiant seems like a tired boxer in ...

Given recent events, I agree with you in a way. I think that he is a fan of Valiant and bought into the company, believing in not only the comics, but the IP. He and Dinesh had a falling out and Dinesh "left" the company. Mintz subsequently parachuted in his own friend or person recommend...

This guy is so clearly a snake. What kind of person "believes" in a product so much that he forces out the people that made it work in the first place? That said, I don't think the interview showed him in an entirely bad light. I just think he's a business man, first and foremost. Even th...

This issue is good, although not great. It really has the feel of an action book, but for some reason I have a feeling that Bloodshot won't be the actual protagonist of the series. That's just the feeling that I got from the end of the book. About the Rai teaser... :high-five: if this is an actual t...

He is a plot device. It is a writer thing, where one writer might be interested in exploring/expanding him as a character, and the next does not. Agreed. And I think it’s unfortunate when an interesting sub plot gets dropped & forgotten like this. I completely agree with this. It would be fasci...
