Acclaim release order
I know it doesn't matter nearly as much as it does with classic valiant and the new stuff, but does anyone have a release order for the Acclaim run? I keep the other two universes organized by release date, and I've started tracking down the acclaim stuff, so it would be nice to keep it consistent.

Re: Valiant HeroClix Dream Set List
I hadn't heard about the trading cards. Kinda hope they're not following the Cryptozoic model (or, for that matter, farming them out to Cryptozoic - their cards are beautiful, but $3.50 a pack for 5 cards is just staggering). EDIT - nevermind, I just saw that it was Rittenhouse, which is good, I've ...

Valiant HeroClix Dream Set List
I posted this a couple of weeks ago in the Facebook group, but I figured there might also be some people here who might get a kick out of it. I love HeroClix, and would really love to see a Valiant set for it. I was talking with one of the other local players, and he was of the opinion that it would...

Re: The Path to Pop Culture Ubiquity
I tend to agree with most of the above, although Valiant's gotta go where the money is, and right now, that's in cinemas still, for whatever reason. That said, I think an interesting opportunity is developing in the streaming market that most license-holders haven't really looked into yet, and that'...

Re: So, I just read Predator vs. Magnus the Robot Fighter...
One of the two Alien/Predator crossovers from the 90s that I actually think is worthwhile (the other one was WildC.A.T.S./Aliens), mostly because, like the other one, it actually mattered to the continuity of the book it was crossing into (in this case, via the X-O ring), whereas most similar crosso...

Picked Magnus 8 w/coupon and an X-O 14/15 set w/both signed by Bart Sears out of a dollar box at a con this past weekend.

Re: 2012 - The year I made contact
Actually, I have managed to find copies of Magnus 2 and 8, and I have the first four A&A's. The rest is a work in progress. Overall, I love the original Valiant run, but not as much as I'm loving the current stuff.

2012 - The year I made contact
So I grew up in a comic shop. I have pretty much the coolest dad in the world, and have been steeped in comic books and geek culture since I could open my eyes, and for that I am eternally grateful. Sadly, I was a little young for Valiant the first time around. When I was first learning to read (pre...
