Those pieces being kept like that make me think they could be the "proof" that's needed for some big boss who sent them on the mission to gather/kill all the manowar armors.

That was my argument too, but it says in the summary he was tired of fighting. If we are to take the summary as cannon (and maybe we can't because they are not written by the writers of the book typically) then the two don't reconcile.

I'm not so sure about the one power. I think (just my own theory) that any Psiot is capable of any ability, but they manifest one based on their own personality and/or specific trauma. For example ...

At first I was trying to figure out how this would work (Obie's new ability), but considering the HARD Corps technology can duplicate any Psiot ability, and Omega level Psiots like Harada have access to multiple Psiot abilities, it would make sense that any Psiot brain is capable of any ability ...

IMO, Archer will eventually become the most powerful character in the Valiant Universe .. the VEI version of Solar if you will
