Re: Harbinger Wars II #4
I didn’t read this issue after the disaster that was issue #3, and probably won’t after reading everyone’s comments here. I’m no longer buying the monthly issues, and am not sure I’m too concerned about even getting them on sale at this point. I agree with the common sentiment expressed... the origi...

Re: CBR- "20 Valiant Characters That Are Actually Rip-Offs..
Geez... this was a poor attempt, even by listicle standards.
I’d love to see the author apply a similar effort to all of Liefelds Extreme creations. Now that would make for some humorous reading.

Re: Harbinger Wars II #2 Discussion
Agree with your review, DBS. Was Palmer’s history here different from what we saw in H.A.R.D. Corps #0? All in all, though, I enjoyed this issue more than I did #1. I wasn’t so surprised that Ninjak was able to get the drop on Peter, and I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that Ninjak...

Re: Harbinger Wars II #1 Discussion
In the prelude we see Livewire received a seemingly desperate message from @x that set things off. It even said that if she was getting the message then @x was probably dead. Not a single reference to whatever that was in this issue. I don't recall if he was in the scene with the Renegades, so I sup...

Free Comic Book Day is less than a week away, and not hint about any announcements. Definitely a change, as Dinesh was usually letting the teasers fly.

As cheesy as it was, all in all, I enjoyed this. And for those of us that have been dreaming of the day that we see the Valiant characters in some form of live action representation... boom. Or, perhaps, one step closer to seeing those hopes realized. Hopefully this wa just a precursor. Positives: L...

Tell them to go watch that Marvel "first try" classic with Nick Fury as played by David Hasselhoff and come back to Valiant when they get pubes. There was a Dr. Strange movie from the late 70s. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077469/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ...

No spoilers, but that was much better than I was expecting!
Couple of Easter Eggs I noticed:
This had been mentioned before, but the notepad in Neville’s drawer that says “Where’s the Savage?”
Master Darque’s tatoos on the entrance to the temple in the beginning.

Agreed. I was wondering about the scythe when the initial previews and character designs came online. Glad to know there is a good reason why he doesn't have it anymore.Zhuge1 wrote:I like the preview. Interesting that they're finally tackling an answer to the point of the scythe. I love the artwork.

Interesting that this story seemingly contradicts the news of Warren leaving Valiant. I wonder if the truth is somewhere in the middle... Illidge being groomed to ultimately replace Warren who will be leaving in 3 - 6 months, or something along those lines.

I finished up South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Not the most challenging of games at the default difficulty, but this is a must play if you consider yourself somewhat of a South Park fan. Hysterical stuff that calls back to many, many, seasons prior. All in all a game well done!

Re: The Devil's Thread: Matt Wagner's Grendel
Ahhhh... Grendel. One of those series I aspire to read start to finish someday. Comixology has a series of collected editions that gather everything together, though I'm not certain if that is in any chronological order. I was first introduced to it back in the mid 80s. A friend in high school was r...

Re: Where to Start
I’ll toss my support behind the Reddit order that Phoenix posted. That’s the closest to a chronological order you’ll find, and the breaking down into acts works well to give you a tv season feel.
