Re: How important is colour?

I've gone from reading comics to being heavily into manga the lack of colour isn't that bad. However if having colour is what is holding comics to an expensive price point dropping it for black and white had better massively increase page count.

My only complaint is that I'm not a massive fan of Hudlin. Other than that I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do.

With Paramount seemingly doing Harbinger I wonder if they'll use it to push Paramount+ as that will need original content or if they'll push forward with a theatrical release.

I can kinda of see it. It's one of those you really got a squint things. More in a huh that kinda looks like X-O just by chance than on purpose.

I have sat through some horrible movies and upon re watching a lot of what I own turns out some of them don't get better and some are just exist. I'm down for a second shot. Most movies lately get at least that much.

The real test is whether or not you keep succumbing to it. I have compared my continued buying of Valiant to the lady with black eyes on the tv show Cops bawling over her abusive boyfriend, “But I love him!” Yep, I keep coming back. Valiant has changed. This time is going to be different. And other...

Re: Bloodshot 2 Movie News

Like I know the pandemic pretty much clipped Bloodshot off at it's knees at release, if only it stuck to that February release, but have the streaming and purchase numbers been that good? I bought it, mainly because much like WarCraft and Assassins Creed I figured this wasn't happening again, but st...

I actually didn't think this was as bad as the first issue. There are still problems that are meh though. First thing why introduce evil billionaire tech guy, you had one already the guy who created the Armorines could've brought him back and just from this issue also reintroduced the good Armorines...

Re: Doctor Tomorrow #5 Discussion

It wasn't a bad little series. I think one of it's massive flaws is that it asks me to believe that this is a big cohesive universe where all these heroes would team up to fight a bad guy. I haven't believed that about this universe for years.

Re: Milestone Returns

Icon & Rocket - I think Kirkman's Invincible's dad's story shares some similarities with Icon. I enjoyed the relationship between Icon and Rocket. I probably liked this book better than Static Shock. Hardware - I thought this was a poorly done Iron Man ripoff but I may need to give it a reread. I c...

So Milestone is back up and running officially

Come February they are doing digital first along with a Static Shock OGN. Plus a push to get the original stuff at least on digital.

Re: DC Layoffs

DC is definitely putting a lot of the print business to bed. I wouldn't be surprised if Valiant does the same. Marvel still seems to be plugging away with the Direct Market, with just a few casualties. We still have a lot of indie producers producing great stuff. But yeah, the comic industry may ne...

I'm surprised no one posted this yet but DC is going through some massive layoffs at the moment. https://bleedingcool.com/comics/dc-comics-editorial-bloodbath-going-on-right-now/ There's more but it's a lot to wade through. Re: Double Take Comics!

I remember this. They were apparently going to use it first for video game comics where they were going to attempt to tie all of take-twos games together like X-Com and Bioshock. They of course met resistance to that from the actual studio devs. Which is what led to the Night of the living dead stuf...

I honestly don't know if anyone has posted but if you check out Valiants twitter they're giving away freedownloads of the comics. Have a hard time seeing it. Novelizations for movies are based off early versions of scripts and he wasn’t even hinted at in there. So he would of had to be added last minute and that only makes sense if the movie rights when in reverse and went to Sony not left them.

It’s blatant false advertising. It’s an alternate ending for the big fight at the end

I picked it up when it was released on digital. I thought it was average. I didn't find it bad, but I didn't find it to be very good. I think if Vin Diesel looked like Bloodshot for most of the movie, my personal enjoyment would have increased quite a bit. I mean, we now live in an era where the mo...

Bloodshot movie vs novelzation

So I finally got a chance to see Bloodshot. I wasn't aware that the early release ultimately led to an early physical release as well. Overall the movie was too bad I thought Harting, Wiggans and KT were all good characters. Harting wasn't cartoonishly evil, Wiggans added some decent comedy, and KT ...
