Re: Marvel Series 1 cards
Sell, sell, sell. Once submissions catch up to demand and those 10s become more and more frequent, assuming PSA will ever catch up, these are going to bottom out quickly. They were available in every comic store, gas station, and department store I frequented as a child. Hell, even a locally owned l...

They're not as hot as they were but the sketch variants and low print run issues still bring a premium price. The sketches for 220-231 bring really big money in high grade.possumgrease wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 4:22:16 pm Nice haul man. Are Spawn back issues still on fire like this past summer?

https://i.imgur.com/nV8ilIzm.jpg It seems like it has been ages since I have posted on this forum. I'm still here though. I saw this old post so I thought I would share my last CGC haul. I was quite pleased. I like Miles but I'm not as huge of a fan as others. I've been reading opinions that call h...

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
Thank you for sharing. I'll have to pull my copy out and check on the condition. I might need to send it off. I've had great luck with sending Spawn books to CGC and pulling 9.8s.maraxusofkeld wrote:Spawn #240 is doing made cash as well $80-100.

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Comics Of Any Era
Prediction: Spawn #120-#137 newsstand editions will be insane in the future. :hm: So hold don't sell? :hm: There is a lot of buzz around issue 300 that seems to be driving up prices. Will there be a 400? Who knows? Didn't McFarlane, wayyyyy back in the day, liken Spawn to Cerebus - a 300 issue long...

In all seriousness, if it is successful, Vin Diesel could be a potential buyer. Jason David Frank would probably be interested, too.

Re: Rai 0's CGC 9.8
What is the difference between the matte and glossy? Does anyone have a side by side picture? I just want to know what to look for when inspecting. I have a CGC 9.8 but it was before the matte and glossy. I also have a ton of ungraded copies.

If that is a true selling price, that is hands down #1 on my regrettable sales list. I should have kept it.

Lee is as prolific as any American author in our history but you will never hear him get the credit for it. He entertained, educated, and taught more kids self-value than Faulkner, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Twain, Fitzgerald, Melville, etc.

I would like to ask you guys if you think that Ultimate X-Men #1 is worth to get. Right now I have a possible deal of 6 copies for 60 USD, have no idea if this is a good opportunity or not. Any help is appreciated. :thumb: $10 per book seems a bit much to me but it might be the average price. Thank...

You're correct, except for being wrong by at least six months.
Amazing Spider-man #252 May 1984
Secret Wars #8 December 1984

Yes. I'm surprised it wasn't brought to the attention of the board. I wasn't going to do it because I didn't want to bring on competition. I'm really surprised it didn't go for a lot higher. It was a solid deal!corey wrote:Did yout bid on the 9.8 that was on ebay
