Re: The Many Dead Universes Of Marvel

M-Tech is a dead imprint but not a dead universe since these three titles took place in the marvel universe. If we're talking about dead imprints then you can add midnight sons, marvel edge, marvel next, tsunami and marvel knights to the list.

Re: Future Comics help

Could it be the Colony TPB that IDW released a few years ago and not a relaunch? I really would love to see these characters in the new Valiant universe.

Re: DNAgents

A few months back, I finished my DNAgents collections. Then I found out I was missing one series, Whodunnit. I bought the three issues and was satisfied that I had a complete set of the DNAgents universe. Today, I was reading Hollywood Superstars from Marvel's Epic line and it takes place in the sa...

Re: Future Comics help

Some of those are crazy rare. Oh, yeah, they are. Only the Deathmask #1 isn't super rare. On the other hand, I hope someone has them. While I'd buy them if I saw them, for my purposes I only need print quality scans. You're not going to find them in print. Deathmask #4, Freemind #8, Metallix #7 and...

Re: Defiant: Origin of Chasm ?

Was there a Dark Dominion #0 card set? I have a vague memory of seeing it somewhere. Yes. It is harder to find than Plasm but still something that can be had rather cheaply. It was easy for me to find through milehighcomics.com but not cheap because I had to keep on buying the boxes of card to comp...

They also did a 5 issue series with Marvel/Epic called Hollywood Superstars which was kind of a spinoff of Crossfire.

Re: Black And White 80s Publishers

Yeah, Caliber was very good, gave us The Crow originally, but I think the best thing they put out was Caliber Presents, great anthology with King Zombie, Crow, etc.. never were a ton on the shelves but great if you can find them. Caliber also did Negative Burn. Which was a great b/w anthology title...

Re: Discuss Black And White 80s Comics And Publishers

Shuriken was sort of amer-ime (I think I am using this term right here - American anime) published by Victory comics from a man named Reggie Byers. Eternity printed a second volume and special. Somehow, Shuriken was on the team of All New Exiles that Ultraverse relaunched after the Marvel buyout. I...

Re: Black And White 80s Publishers

I ventured into my closet a couple days ago, stepped over the skeletons, and came across a copy of The Final Cycle #1, by 80s black and white publisher Dragon's Teeth. It was 48 pages, and I really enjoyed it. I plan to pick up the final three issues of that series, which I believe was the only ser...

I like the original Ex-Mutants. Trollords was surprisingly an enjoyable read. Vietnam Journal, Days of Wrath and Days of Darkness are great war comics.

Re: Hardest Dead Universe issues to find

Anyone remember that one creator (I think he is in his 50s now) from the '80s or early '90s who got in legal trouble because his comic was consider child porn (or something like that, which he was eventually cleared from with the help offff CFLD if I recall correctly). I thought it was Hard Boiled ...

Re: Virgin Comics - Anybody read them?

Yes, thank you. Liquid Comics, not Lightning Comics. Also that Chakra FCBD comic was published by Graphic India, not Liquid Comics (They also released a Ramayan FCBD this year as well). Going to their website, I see that they also have Devi, Sadhu and Ramayan. Liquid Comics also has a website with t...

They are still alive but are called lightning comics or something like that. They are mainly online comics though do publish floppies now and then. Matter of fact, Stan Lee had a FCBD in 2013 that was called Chakra and published by lightning.

On the cover of #35, right lower bottom right, it says Hero Graphics, another company that I believe was a popular indy company in the '80s. On the inside cover, there is some text by 'Dennis Mallonee' stating "You're not only getting a big 100-page comic book for only $3.95, you're getting act...

Re: Silver Wolf Comics

I have some that I've picked up from the quarter bins. Looks cheesy but I'll eventually be getting the entire universe too. Buying them from quarter bins will take a long time to buy though. Mile High Comics sometimes have sales of 50-60% off and, if you don't mind a Good or Fine condition, you can ...
