Had a dream the other night that I was reading the issue and while I didn't actually see the page, every implication was that Pete was the one who bought it. Hope it's not prophetic but my anticipation lever for this book is sky high.

I completely agree that I am more of a H.A.R.D. Corps fan then Bloodshot. Would love to see these characters elsewhere.

Well with the death being over publicized it shocks me to find you never saw that they specifically mentioned the character dies in 23. I know I won't be expecting the death before then.

Could Pete have left a psionic last will and testament in Kris figuring that it was he vs. Harada to the death. I really hope he doesn't die bit I can't shake that feeling that book one would end with Pete dead.

The covers in the arc itself don't mean Pete lives. If he dies in 23 the 25 cover could be a reflection on that battle. Then again 25 in VH1 was the climactic Sting Harada battle.
