I cant wait for this.

Agreed. Best Valiant issue I've read in a long time, a great continuation of Imperium.

Re: Psi-Lords in June

I'm down with this. I don't think I was too-too interested until FVL came on board. Even after Generation Zero and War Mother? :? Glad you brought that up. Shall we wager on whether we see someone wearing buckle shoes? :) Btw, I liked both of those titles. Gen Zero was good / great, War Mother was ...

Re: Celebrity Valiant Fans?

I'm surprised no one mentioned Aerosmith. The band members were huge fans of the original Shadowman run.

I guess Vin Diesel somewhat counts as a Bloodshot fan since he's been reading the comic to prep for his role in the film.

Watch BP & Spidey: Homecoming, but don't go out of your way to see WW. It's not horrible, by any means, but it's overrated.

Re: Vin Diesel posts on Instagram "in training for Bloodsho

I'm just hoping Vin Diesel puts out an accurate performance for this role and doesn't churn out another Riddick/XXX/Fast & Furious type of character, which are all somewhat the same. And, unless they get other known stars for the movie, a lot of people might bypass the film assuming it's another...

Re: To all those saying they are thinking of quitting Valian

I do hope some things with Valiant remain the same, such as the publication of Rai. What I don't want is a few issues containing Crain's art, then 3-5 fill-in issues while Crain's taking time on his subsequent issues. Unfortunately, I can't see a corporate entity allowing what weve seen of Rai's pu...

Re: To all those saying they are thinking of quitting Valian

I don't have high hopes for DMG's take-over, and what they did to Dinesh was slimy, to put it mildly, but as long as there's quality in the Valiant line I'll continue supporting the product. I'm not a blindly loyal consumer. I like the persona Dinesh has (never met him), as well as his passion for t...

First issue of Noble dropped this week. Did anyone read it? They also have their FCBD issue coming out tomorrow. Might check that out first before giving the line a try. I've been a fan of Roger Robinson's art ever since that run on The Web for DC a few years back....So I checked out Noble and it's...

Re: Valiant vs Acclaim- Shadowman

I've been curious about Garth Ennis's Shadowman run after I saw the announcement of the title being released in collected form.

How does it compare to Ennis's other work? I loved Ennis's work on Punisher Max and Preacher, while I thought Hitman was horrible.

Re: Dinesh teasing Unity (reprint maybe?)

Solar also appears in the Archer And Armstrong omnibus. I think Valiant just cares more about their current versions and they probably don't have the proper proofs of the older material to do them justice. I think it is why we don't have more reprints. Not everything had the GK3 characters. You're ...

Re: Valiant Deluxe Editions Going Out of Print

I'm surprised the first Archer & Armstrong deluxe is going for so much. I bought it for $10 (clearance at my LCS) around 4 months ago. I wasn't sure if I'd get it since I already had the single issues & tpbs comprising of those issues, but at that cheap price I bought it anyway. So you are ...

Re: Secret Service/Kingsman and Kick-Ass

Some of it, I think is it's Millar's nihilistic attitude in his work that many see as a complete and utter competent (maybe even bordering on pure hatred) for superheroes, fans of superheroes, and himself for writing a genre he clearly doesn't like and can't get away from and his attempts to escape...

X-23 could , maybe, has the possibility, to approach Harley status. The BIG difference I see is that overall, Harley has tons of female fans and X-23 has some. That could change, but right now Harley is prob 50/50 female to male fans. Also a lot of X-23's initial push has come from spec about her p...

Aside from the fact that a brilliant book like Imperium is ending, my extra bit of sadness is the fact Dinesh replied to my Deluxe Hardcover query on Twitter, stating there are no plans for a hardcover release of Imperium. I get the feeling it might be due to Imperium's low sales numbers, but I do h...
