So I drove 60 miles away and scored big time. I got copies of Harbinger #0,1,7 Solar #1-4, Rai #0-4, XO #15 (misprint), Magnus #8, some old Wolverine comics, huge Robotech collection, last Shadowman issue, and a buncha random Valiant (100 total books) - $30.00

the prices were a BIG turn off for me too. Remember when Wolverine was $1.50 and that seemed like a lot, then you look at the coloring compared to $1.00 Uncanny X-Men and it was a big difference.

yeah some Joker had Rai 0 for $20 at a comic sotre, I told him there were like 600k copies or something. Then I drove 2 miles to another store and found it in the 50 cent bin (ALong with Magnus 8-14, Rai #3. and sets of EW, AA, and XO) score.

If Valiant prices do go up, I bet all the people that ...

I was always an Archer & Armstrong fan, BWS just kicks *SQUEE*

Now I am wondering what happened to my favorite superheroes - Archer And Armstrong, Peter Stanchek (and the rest of the O.G. Harbinger team). I for one - always supported Jim Shooter and hope he picks up Valiant and does it HIS way again.

If SHooter and Layton had a beer, vented, and had a hug moment that would be cool, because VALIANT was at it's BEST when they were a TEAM. BWS was cool too but not nearly as big a contributor as they were.
