It would involve a lot of transitional handwaving; since you can't see cosmic strings (they're one dimensional). Though you could theoretically (and easily) detect them due to the massive effects they would have on ...

Not much of one, but I'm competent enough to do a bit of back and forth with a person who is.

Very cool stuff, IMJ. I like the idea of one or more of the players being able to 'skip' over space, shifting to diverse regions at the same time. Now I just have to figure out something on how it would look!

One thing I was thinking, also, is that the one using cosmic strings might be able to let ...

I was wondering if anyone here with a combination of common sense and physics knowledge would be interested in helping me develop a blow-by-blow realistic battle. Precise distances, magnitudes and colors are appreciated, as that will make it much easier for me to create scenes progressions based on ...

I can go with that train of thought, but why is one boot chosen over wearing a pair?
Because you only need one center of mass, and if that's necroplasm or holy fire (which can be as heavy as it needs to be, within limits) then you're not going to need more than one point of serial contact. One ...

To be captain Buzzkill, a bucket boot actually does make sense if you're superhumanly strong. It gives you a broader weight distribution and better ground leverage.

It makes good sense for tanks (Fuji, to take an Image example) and it may make even more sense for plasma-in-a-shell beings, like ...

I liked his costume design until Todd started doing the whole bucket boot thing.
Dude, I am 110% with you on that. I don't get Todd's fascination with bucket-boots. Bucket-boot Angela was even worse.

It's cool if one or two characters are like that, but at a certain point it becomes like how ...

Well, I wish I had better reasons but Spawn was the only one that I read for more than the initial mini or story arc. With me I kinda wins by default.

If you are going to try Image, you'll need an artist. They don't match people up. You can't just sumbit a script.

You really should submit everywhere. You'll probably get rejected everywhere and the experience will help.
This is more a hypothetical on if you had a sellable property. But you're ...

As I've said before, I don't dislike Batman. I think he's a cool character. I just don't like him in the DCU. But get a well written story, taking place in the Gotham Knights-local verse and illustrated by someone like Olivetti I will buy it up and enjoy it. I think Batman is ...

Let's say you have a title that is so great you know you can get any given publisher to take it...what company, publisher and/or imprint would you go with?

Ah, I hadn't read that DC had closed the Wildstorm imprint. That's too bad, their Mr. Majestic series was better than Superman for a couple years.
However, Lee has said that there still will be (former) Wildstorm properties published - under the DC imprint.

Actually, DC owns Wildstorm and plans on putting out some titles with the characters from it. And Jim Lee works for DC most of the time these days.

Jim Lee is co-Publisher of DC, so I'd say he pretty much always works there :P
