That Solar board project is the second board project after the initial Magnus 0 book that Dinesh did. The project was done by A........., Not too be spoken of on this board.

There were only a few of the remarked copies, I think 13 or so. BWS signed these and because of some false promises made ...

I have a feeling the downfall was caused more by Kothari than Cuneo. Just my thoughts.

I've also written several times about my original VALIANT collecting.

IMHO VALIANT became the scapegoat for the overprinting everyone was doing. Many don't remember that at that time they had to compete with Marvel putting out there major titles twice a month and clogging up all the shelves in the ...

This is a pretty significant piece of board history. Most of the VEI new stuff isn't really. Someone should grab it, I have 2.

It was on my watch list and I wasn't paying attention.

I believe there was one painted one, maybe two. If I remember correctly one was Layton's. I think Vaultkeeper bought it in a larger purchase from Bob.

I think Dinesh might have one, not sure though. I think he's had just about everything at one point, really!

These are both gone, I have more in a higher grade probably. I'll be selling some soon.

Sounds like they are cutting back on their Convention presence. I would think if they are not at this, they'll be pretty much scarce except for maybe NYCC because of it's proximity. I do know they always got great location in Chicago and NY because Fred had a great relationship with the showrunners ...

I always plan on coming for a few days, but sometimes it just doesn't work out for me. The whole process of tickets, rooms, etc. has really gotten to be no fun.

Fred's a straight shooter and a great guy. I am sure he is showing his value every day in that office.

I asked someone who would have a definitive answer and he basically said VEI would have to make a deal to reprint, but if someone else wanted to reprint they'd have to make a deal with them pretty much.

So I guess you guys are right.

Greg and Co. have done a great job here over the years.

There's not much flaming or drama anymore which might make things a little less exciting than they used to be 10 years ago or so, but on the other hand, the board seems to deal with the comics, stories, and business of Valiant more ...

Great guy! Very smart and quick on his feet in all situations. He will do well where ever he lands in the future.
