Interesting discussion, I have just been having this same argument with myself. I really want to buy TPB's but I go into the Comic book store and I just want to buy the comics to read the story, they get me every time. I'm trying to find this balance where I Collect 4 or 5 titles and just buy TPB's ...

5,000 tends to be a realistic number nowadays.

It's what the Mile High Comics guy suggested Shooter aim for with Daring and it's as much as Future Comics' best-selling title, Deathmask, sold.

VEI may need a minimum of 10,000 copies to make a profit, but they won't publish that much in their first ...

I think a more realistic sales number is 5,000 copies per title. That's around what Future Comics' best selling title did.

They can't do 5,000 copies that won't make them anything. I called up the Qubecor and Previews to find out printing costs and distribution numbers and they loose about 600.00 ...

I'm starting to final build some resemblance of a VALIANT collection. As I go through it I'm starting to read more and more about Axe. I really do not like him. He whines, he thinks he's cool, he doesn't seem to be a great villain. It sucks that he would be the one to kill bloodshot. He is the ...

Rai and the Future Force 9 Project

I thought of a new project last night. Supposedly there are 800,000 RAFF lying around. We should buy up 700,000 and burn them. I'm sure we can find them for 0.25 cents or lower.

100 = $25

1000 = $250

10000 = $2500

ok forget it that's way to expensive. Maybe people would sell it to us for 1 cent.

I guess it just depends, afterall it's only $70 bucks and if you enjoy what you read, it ends up being all good.

He brought the shipping down to 13.00 for all of them so things kinda got a little better, but ya I paid about $2.00 per one. If they are all NM then I'll be happy, and not stress ...

I guess the key is finding decent licenses that haven't been picked up yet, so probably it would be newer shows. Maybe like LOST or the Nine or something.

Or what if they picked up Super Mario and Zelda again to bank on the popularity of the Wii and the new Zelda game? o.o;

Oh ya, you stumbled ...

is .cbr a bad word to use around here? Are there Valiant ones out there? Maybe the we could get our grubby hands of our old back issues, if you could just read them on the computer.

I had no clue you could set a max price on EBay and let it do the bidding for you. Anyhow I was in a bidding war with some programming and this is what I grabbed:

There was an old TV show called Cliffhangers! that featured three different stories.

That be another good license.

Yes, I think so--the parents burned the house down to destroy the evidence of those two, and of course Obadiah, too, though he escaped.
