Re: UK Online Vendors?
Draco will do it for you from dead universe comics. I randomly get books from disposable hero comics ~ never set up a standing order. Spoken to 'a place in space', when they missed something from my order ~ I rang them and they where great. Sorry I cannot recommend personally, sure Draco would happ...

Re: Superman: The Man of Steel 18 CGC 9.9
I remember that issue fondly.
I really really liked the lead up to the death of superman.
Never read any of the stories after.

Re: Man of God
I was trying to find the Man of God thread ~ here it is! I too was wondering about issue 4. At one point I was told issue 4 was comming soon, but that was 1? 2? months ago. Hope this not a sore point for the writers and artists on this board. I am interested in the series ~ and not just for the cove...

Re: SELLING EVERYTHING I HAVE...(updated 16-Jan-2013)
Anyone close to getting the unity 2000 issue 3?
I thought it would of been hit by now.
How about I offer a Shadowman vol 3 issue 6 to the deal.
I have not spoke to Squirrel, but he said yes to the previous offer.
I cannot see him saying no to this.
All postage paid from UK!
Any takers?

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
My question has always been what type of person buys some of these moderns at the huge prices. I mean I like moderns quite a bit but if I am going to blow $300, I would rather buy a BA High grade Semi Marvel Key, like an IF #14, which I know may not be worth $20 in 5 years. Had to search for your r...

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
Seems to me like there is a lot of "emotional" bidding on some of the newer Image stuff ... things that just rocket up in price from one week to the next. Have to see where it settles before we can know it's a bubble but something doesn't feel right. Then again that is just the nature of ...

Re: Discuss Hard To Find Or Currently Hot Modern Comics
Are we looking at another speculation bubble? Seems books are up more than the last 10 years. Variant release in the month or their after aside, are prices climbing for prices sake? ( if that makes sence, as in speculation?) Just seems comics is on the up, yet I do not perceive alot of new readers i...

Wow.
That's probably why don't own a comic shop.
Stock would be mine and the remains would be for sale.
My business plan doesn,t work so well for that.

Re: The Gallery Discussion Thread
what do you think a 9.6 and 9.8 unity 2000 issue 3 is worth same for 9.6 / 9.8 shadowman vol 3 issue 6? Have some candidates. I know it speculation, and only a sale will tell. Just asking. Greg lists them at 90, 180, 90, 120. Agree a sale would be the best way to see. Btw, nice pics of the Turoks. ...

Re: So... who got the Bloodshot 0 Platinum for $80?
I think it's a gold at an angle. The gold looks silver when the light hits it the right way. Am I missing some other feature? edit: I'm pretty sure - the logo is too clean. The plats have a little funny business around the compass because the foil is missing. But as CKB mentions above it could be j...

Re: Forbidden planet gives valiant 6 months ~ but don't list
The Forbidden Planet here in NYC is not the same FP that I visited when I was in college back in the 80s. Back then, FP NYC was a two story (or maybe three) monstrosity with tons and tons of back issues. I vivdly recall the creaking wooden floorboards of the place and the tight stairs down to the b...
